Transnetyx has developed a proprietary technology and high throughput process for DNA extraction and analysis. Their automated genotyping service screens for transgenic, knock-out, knock-in mutations and single base changes in tissue using real time PCR. Results are reported electronically within 72 hours.
The current service offered by Transnetyx is to individual labs, which includes direct billing and shipping as well as sample testing in duplicate. The Institutional Testing service includes centralized billing and shipping, as well as single rather than duplicate testing at a more affordable price.

The Transnetyx Quick Order system allows you to place orders, manage your genetic strain information and assays, as well as view and manage your genotyping results. The samples are shipped by your animal facility to Transnetyx where they are processed in our fully automated genotyping system. An email will be sent notifying you that the results are ready to be viewed online. Printable and exportable test results are available within your secure online account.
